Mumbai topped the list of 21 big cities where the quality of life was measured through the Annual Survey of India’s City-Systems (ASICS) survey.
The survey assess the capability of city corporations to provide better quality of life in the medium and long terms. Mumbai moved up eight positions from last year, while Thiruvananthpuram retained the second position and Delhi ranked 6th in the top 10.
Meanwhile, Ahmedabad from the state of Gujarat, which has been frequently hailed for the level of development, has failed to make the cut in the top 10.
