Lenovo-Motorola pips Intex

In 2015, Lenovo and its subsidiary Motorola launched a slew of feature-rich smartphones with aggressive price tags in India. As expected, this strategy has helped the company to become one of the top 3 smartphone makers in India.

Samsung extended its lead at the top of the market, with its devices accounting for around a quarter of the Indian smartphone market. Micromax held second place, with annual shipments falling by more than 20 percent, primarily due to inventory build-up in its distribution network.
